2024 OIB Managers In-Person Conference

We never stop learning and improving, so let's bring that same attitude to our OIB programs.

The OIB-TAC is pleased to announce open registration for the 2024 annual conference for older individuals who are blind (OIB) program managers. Attendees of the OIB-TAC conference will:
- Learn about the variety of models of OIB service,
- Consider services from a national perspective,
- Participate in interactive discussions with peers,
- Meet the Rehabilitation Services Administration OIB liaison, and
- Consider different approaches and strategies for managing an OIB program.
Travel and hotel expenses are covered by the OIB-TAC for one attendee from each state. If a state wishes to have more than one person attend the conference, the state will be responsible for travel costs for the additional. There is no registration fee for this conference, although all attendees are asked to register for planning purposes. No CEUs will be offered for this conference. DoubleTree by Hilton Albuquerque; 201 Marquette Ave NW, Albuquerque, NM 87102
Find us blocks from the downtown area, connected to Albuquerque Convention Center by an underground concourse. We're less than two miles from the Old Town and ABQ BioPark, with Albuquerque International Sunport 10 minutes away via free shuttle. Enjoy our warm DoubleTree welcome cookie, seasonal outdoor pool, coffeehouse, and on-site restaurant. The Crystal Ballroom has been reserved as the meeting space.
Accommodations
OIB-TAC will cover the cost of transportation to Albuquerque and hotel accommodations for one OIB Program Manager per state/territory. Please note, OIB-TAC can only cover hotel costs between February 27-March 1, 2024.
