We’ll discuss how each retreat helps participants build essential skills like orientation and mobility training, daily living techniques, effective communication, and social engagement strategies while providing opportunities for peer support. New T.I.P.S. Course Promotion Material
Our newest OIB-TAC course, T.I.P.S. for Helping People with Vision Problems, is designed to empower individuals with the skills and knowledge to assist those experiencing vision loss. The target audience for this course is anyone who may interact with individuals who experience blindness or low vision. Some examples include healthcare workers, public transportation drivers, flight attendants, senior center workers, employees of nursing homes, restaurant workers, and many more!
With that said, we need your help promoting this course! To help with this, we have created a graphic that can be printed or copied on your agency’s flyers, website, or social media pages. The graphic includes a QR code that when scanned will take people directly to our course page to learn more and access the course.
