New Course from OIB-TAC: T.I.P.S. for Helping People with Vision Problems

OIB-TAC has launched a new course, T.I.P.S. for Helping People with Vision Problems, designed to offer practical strategies to enhance the everyday lives of individuals who have trouble seeing. Through real-life scenarios, you will gain valuable insights into fostering a supportive atmosphere where every person feels included, comfortable, and in control of their daily lives. The course will address best practices for creating a safe and accessible environment that promotes independence and dignity for individuals with vision difficulties.
Topics include understanding different types of vision loss, effective communication techniques, and innovative approaches to encourage participation and engagement in group activities. Course participants will be equipped with the skills and knowledge necessary to provide personalized care that respects the individual needs of those with vision problems, ultimately enhancing their overall well-being and sense of community.
This course does not offer continuing education credits.
