In this webinar, Becky Andrews discussed resilience and how we can proactively cultivate it in our lives. Becky Andrews is a licensed clinical mental health counselor and owner of Resilient Solutions, Inc, established in 2006. She is the Clinical Director serving individuals, families, and communities throughout the country. Becky has a B.S and M.S from Utah State University further training at the University of Utah. She is an EMDR Therapy Provider and a Fellow in Thanatology, a Positive Psychology life coach, and a certified Compassion Fatigue Trainer. She is the president of the nonprofit Oasis Center for Hope (OCH), where the mission is to offer support, education, and empowerment to individuals, families, and communities experiencing a loss. Through OCH, she has organized and facilitated ten retreats: Daring to Own Your Story.
In her free time, Becky loves to run (she’s run nine marathons, including Boston twice and the NYC Marathon), tandem bike, hike, and travel. At the time of COVID, Becky and her husband of 36 years, Steve, were fulfilling their bucket list of cycling across the country. They have two adult children, and their first grandbaby is due in January! Becky is navigating life with her third guide dog, Georgie.Becky was most recently recognized as Utah State University’s Alumni of the Year. Becky believes our success comes as we work together and as Helen Keller states: Alone we can do little, together we can do so much.
