My Heart is Not Blind: Voices of Older Blind

Session Date:
Monday, September 13, 2021 - 11:00 am to 12:30 pm CDT

Back due to popular demand: My Heart Is Not Blind: Voices of Older Blind offers compelling accounts of survival, adaptation, and heightened perspective. Through the gift of images and presence, each eloquent voice will draw us into deeper understanding.

In this pre-recorded presentation, you will hear an intimate story from the subject accompanied by a photographic portrait. Many of the personal narratives that accompany each portrait speaks of the transition from sight to vision loss and how that has changed—and not changed—the ability to perceive the world. His presentation will be followed by a live Q&A.

Last year's presentation is available to view here.
