This reception room provided a virtual opportunity for program managers to connect before the official start of the conference. We hope that this kickstarted the exchange of ideas and opportunities for connection for the week.

Alice Klein is the founder of Blind and Low Vision Yoga Seattle (BLVY). She works as the program coordinator for Independent Living Services through the Washington State Department of Services for the Blind.
In 2018 she graduated from yoga teacher training. Feeling inspired by her passion for yoga and her connection to the blind community, she wanted to offer yoga to people who are blind in the Seattle area where she lives and works. At the time, there was no such program, so BLVY was created. Blind and Low Vision Yoga Seattle aspires to bring joyful movement to those with vision difficulties to promote balance, confidence, and wellbeing.
