NRTC Recruiting Applications for Vision Specialist Program

The NRTC is recruiting our next class of Vision Specialists in Vocational Rehabilitation. Our online graduate certificate program, funded by the Rehabilitation Services Administration, lasts one year (January to December). The courses are designed for professionals to help them become more effective in their work with individuals who are blind or have low vision. Payment scams and other types of online fraud can have a devastating financial and emotional impact on older Americans. They lost over $1.6 billion in 2023. As you prepare to observe World Elder Abuse Awareness Day on June 15, you have a new set of resources you can use to educate and empower older adults.

NCOA and Zelle have created educational articles and videos covering business impostor scams, online scams, and text messaging scams. In our new toolkit, you'll find everything you need to quickly and easily share these new resources on your social media channels.

Accessible Pharmacy Services presents the Blindness and Mental Health Summit

Join us for the first annual Blindness and Mental Health Summit on Friday, June 14, 2024, from 12:00PM to 4:00PM ET! The Summit is the largest online gathering of organizations and consumers sharing information, resources, and services focusing on mental health in the blindness, low vision, and disability communities. It is 100% virtual and will have ASL interpreters. Providers will also be able to earn CE credit.
