Lessons for Living
Have you shared our Lessons for Living with your clients? Lessons for Living provides information on how individuals who are blind can safely and efficiently complete everyday tasks. Nineteen lessons are available for download in audio and print formats. These lessons are also available on BARD.
Looking for Success Stories
Do you have videos or articles that have been published online about the success of your older vision impaired clients? Maybe you have some videos on your website, or maybe some clients were interviewed related to participation in one of your programs for a newsletter or newspaper article. Please send us links to these success stories at info@oib-tac.org, so we can share them.
Leader Dog Unmet Needs Survey
One last opportunity to participate in Leader Dogs for the Blind’s Unmet Needs Survey for Blind Rehabilitation Specialists, if you haven’t done so already, please respond to the survey with the link below by June 1, 2024. This survey is helping Leader Dog identify gaps in the blind rehabilitation field to see where we can help. Your feedback is critical in our efforts!

Accessible Pharmacy Services presents the Blindness and Mental Health Summit
Join us for the first annual Blindness and Mental Health Summit on Friday, June 14, 2024, from 12:00PM to 4:00PM ET! The Summit is the largest online gathering of organizations and consumers sharing information, resources, and services focusing on mental health in the blindness, low vision, and disability communities. It is 100% virtual and will have ASL interpreters. Providers will also be able to earn CE credit.
