The National Council on Aging has $30 Billion of Unused Financial Assistance

Food. Medication. Utilities. Housing. Transportation. There are benefit programs out there to help older adults afford just about every necessity, but millions of eligible people never use them.

NCOA leads the charge to close the benefits gap. Through our national network of Benefits Enrollment Centers, 90 community-based organizations work one-on-one with older adults, so they get the help they deserve. Millions more find help through Benefits Check Up, our free and comprehensive online tool that lets people find benefits and check their eligibility. For those who want more help, we have knowledgeable staff available through our Benefits Helpline, 1-800-794-6559.
