Senior Centers Summit: Reframing Aging

Monday, December 11, 2023 | 1:00-4:00 PM ET

Even as Americans live longer and healthier lives, how we think about aging has not changed. Ageism and implicit bias toward age continue to impact our society, including how senior centers are perceived.

Join the Administration for Community Living-funded Modernizing Senior Centers Resource Center and the National Center to Reframe Aging for a fun and interactive virtual summit where participants will look at how to communicate about senior centers. The summit will provide information, resources, examples, and activities that you can use to enhance the image of your center and be an agent of change in combatting ageism in your community.

The summit will include real-time captioning via Zoom. For questions, please contact Dianne.stone@ncoa.org.
