United Airlines Announces Plan for Braille Integration in Cabin Interiors

United Airlines recently unveiled a plan to include braille versions of in-cabin signage across its fleet by 2026. This includes row and seat numbers as well as other important markings, such as those on lavatories. In addition, United is collaborating with organizations such as the American Council of the Blind and the National Federation of the Blind to examine alternative tactile navigation aids within the airplane cabin.
