Serving individuals who do not live full time in yours state on October 18, 2021

We have a consumer who is a resident of another state but lives in our state ½ of the year and the other state the other half. She has an ID from the other state and a home in both states. Which state should serve her?

Aging in Rural Areas on February 4, 2019

Rural areas present a distinct challenge to providing services to individuals who are visually impaired and blind, and especially to those who are older. I have had the experience of working in an urban area and in a very rural area. The barriers to individuals with visual impairmetns in rural areas seem to far exceed those of individuals living in urban areas.

Question about Independent Living Services for Individuals under 55 years old on December 17, 2018

Some states provide Independent Living services to individuals who are under 55 years old. If anyone would like to share, We would like find out what types of services that are provided to this demographic and what resource stream does the state use to fund these services?
